For those that do not already know, a double barrel name is when a person goes by two names for their first name;
I used to prefer [name_f]katie [/name_f], but i’ve been crushing on [name_f]katy [/name_f] lately. A person that can legally change their name wants to be known as. Have you considered using caddy instead of [name_f]katie [/name_f]? I am torn about the name catherine.
It is less common and really cute. [name]katharine [/name] is too ms hepburn. I kind of like it because it’s simple & cute, but i’m not sure that i myself would want a “simple” name. As a [name_f]katie [/name_f], i feel i absolutely need to weigh in on this!

I was born in the 00s and i grew up with a handful of other katie’s. If you were considering using this for a first name which would you go with if you were going to be using both names interchangeably? While i adore the name, it sounds too plain with my other top names (emma, emily, anna) in a combo. It feels modern and fresh to me, while [name]catherine [/name] feels more elegant and ladylike and more like the royalty spelling.
