I am torn about the name catherine. [name_m]hi[/name_m] everyone, i’m talking hypothetically here, but here’s the following scenario. My husband is stuck on [name_f]katy[/name_f] [name_f]jane[/name_f].
A person that can legally change their name wants to be known as.
It feels modern and fresh to me, while [name]catherine [/name] feels more elegant and ladylike and more like the royalty spelling. I also work with young children. Have you considered using caddy instead of [name_f]katie [/name_f]? What other forms of catherine.
For those that do not already know, a double barrel name is when a person goes by two names for their first name; I was born in the 00s and i grew up with a handful of other katie’s. While i adore the name, it sounds too plain with my other top names (emma, emily, anna) in a combo. I kind of like it because it’s simple & cute, but i’m not sure that i myself would want a “simple” name.
